In 1929, BluCurrent Credit Union (formally known as Post Federal Community) opened its doors to service a handful of postal employees. It began as Springfield Postal Employees Credit Union. Over the years, it has grown from that handful of employees, to more than 18,000 members. Now it not only continues to serve postal employees, but it serves many many more.

Today, BluCurrent serves a 10-county area in Southwest Missouri. It no longer limits its membership to postal or government employees. It is a full-service financial cooperation owned and operated solely for its members, by its members. As a member of BluCurrent, you become an actual owner of the organization.

• Payment processing time changes. With ACH or electric payments, after you schedule your payment the funds will not be withdrawn from your account until the due date. With paper check payments, after you schedule your payment the funds will not be withdrawn from your account until the payee processes the check. The time will vary depending on when the payee cashes the check.
